I then moved to England where I set up a loft conversion company. Travels around Europe further increased my knowledge and I gained appreciation for renovations and older period properties.
Upon our return to Christchurch, Amanda and I set up Brad Richards Building. The Canterbury earthquakes weren’t far behind, which saw a lot of devastation across the region.
The rebuild began. I believe that understanding people (customers and colleagues) and problem solving help create a client’s dream or vision. Positive leadership includes empowering our team to create amazing results on time and to budget, all of which I believe are the most important factors of building.
Amanda and I have two energetic children and have built and renovated homes for ourselves over the years. This means we understand the importance of making life as stress free as possible for our clients, especially those juggling young families. We understand how daunting and time consuming building or renovating can be and do everything we can to minimise stress for you during your project.
